More About Me

After spending many years in the insurance industry analyzing houses for homeowners’ coverage, the transition into real estate was a natural one.  As a Senior Underwriter, I held (and still hold) my Certified Insurance Counselor designation and I feel I bring a unique perspective and set of tools to my real estate clients.  I am tirelessly committed to helping achieve each client’s goals and will help you reach your dreams, whether it’s buying your first home, upsizing, downsizing or selling your current home.  I bring to the table many years of experience making quick but informed decisions, negotiating in a fair but firm way, and building lasting and mutually respectful relationships.  As your broker, I will put your needs above all and will do so with a balance of empathy, determination, and integrity.

Knowledge of the area

I was born in Hawaii and spent half my childhood in the islands and the latter half in the snowy mountains of Colorado.   I moved to Seattle 20 years ago and find the proximity to the mountains and the sea to be perfect.  Add in the diverse culture, amazing food, and beautiful outdoor recreational areas and in my opinion, this city is absolutely the best!  I have lived all over Capitol Hill, Eastlake, Magnolia, Boulevard Park and West Seattle and know the area well.

When I’m not running around the city, I enjoy snowboarding, hiking and backpacking, as well as surfing and beach time with my amazing daughter and crazy dog.  Giving back to the community is important to me and I donate money and time to the Surfrider Foundation, Washington Trails Association, Special Olympics and Toys for Tots.
